Take it or leave it was inspired by Lucky Oceans, at a Songwriter Speaks workshop, held by APRA. "Why not write a song about music?" People kept telling me to write this way, or that way. At the end of the day, you can only write what you feel and in your own style. You can't contrive anything, otherwise it's never going to work. In this song- you learn all about me, my life and my music. The choice is up to you - take it or leave it -I'm being true to myself musically and pleasing myself first!
