In 1989, Lori moved to Perth and began singing at the Lobby Lounge of The Sheraton Hotel. She also joined a corporate show band "Supremely Motown" (a tribute to the music of Motown) which still continues to sell out to Perth audiences.
In 2006, she wrote and recorded a song "Australia", a patriotic song highlighting her love for her home country. "Australia" has received airplay for two years, as well as many live performances by Lori at Tourism Award Ceremonies and Australia Day Concerts. Lori has been guest on interviews on both radio and television, culminating in live performances of the song on ABC radio and to over 30,000 people in the port city of Fremantle on Australia Day, January 2007.
In March 2007, Lori was approached by Celebrate WA to rerecord her song, and call it "Western Australia". The song has been adopted as the theme song for the upcoming WA Week in October, and will be featured in radio and television advertising. This song was performed at the WA Citizen of the Year Awards and at The Governor's Breakfast, hosted by His Excellency, Dr Ken Michaels.
Lori's success has led to the recording of her debut album "WAITING" and contains 12 original self composed songs which will be available in October, 2007.
