About lori Greco
Lori (her real name is Loredana) was born in a little town, just out of Naples, Italy. At the age of three, Lori and her family emigrated to Adelaide, South Australia.
Her school teacher introduced her to the piano when she was seven, and from that very moment Lori was captivated and fell in love with the piano. Lori took piano lessons in classical music over a period of 14 years. She idolized Elton John, Barbra Streisand and Whitney Houston and so her love of playing and singing began. Lori enrolled at the Elder Conservatorium of Music in Adelaide, studying for a Bachelor of Music and later a Bachelor of Education. To supplement her studies, she began playing and singing in various piano bars and restaurants where she developed a regular fan base supporting her gigs.
During her degrees, Lori was appointed as the Musical Director for "The Pyjama Game", "Pippin" and "A Little Night Music". For this, she received glowing reviews...all by the age of 21.
From there on, Lori appeared on several television variety shows such as "Hey Hey It's Saturday", Channel 10's "Pot Luck" and "New Faces". She was invited to sing on "A Touch of Elegance", a morning TV chat show, several times. She was also a finalist in "The Australian Singing Competition" on two occasions.
